Monthly Update November 2025

Total debt was reduced by $1,598.86!
I’m going to say the biggest help this month was not traveling. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE to travel but it is very expensive on one’s own dime. I like to try new foods, experience different things local to wherever I’m at, and shop because…who doesn’t.
🗓 What Happened This Month
The Good
I’ve noticed that my anxiety around money is dwindling. Every day I’m more and more conscious about my spending and what I’m doing with my money and it’s helped me not feel so anxious about it. The economy isn’t the strongest in my mind right now but my new financial mindset and habits have helped me weather this better than I would have in the past.
The Bad
I thought my new habits would be enough to handle the holidays but I was dead wrong. Handling money around the holidays is more of a challenge than I thought it would be and in some instances I’m not prepared for it. Holiday gifts, travel, hotels, etc all are more expensive than I budgeted and it can be mentally exhausting to balance it all.
Financial Quote
These quote has been around longer than most people can comprehend. Funny how wisdom of the past still applies today even though life is vastly different in virtually every way.
“Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants.” - Epictetus
